


The Miners' Arms Inn was saved from redevelopment in 2021 by Paul Smith, a young man with a vision, who wanted to see the pub returned to its former glory. It is being painstakingly restored to its pre-war splendour, incorporating original period fixtures and fittings wherever possible - even down to the urinals! What could be more fitting, then, than that it should become the new home of the Eagle's Victorian beer engine - not as a mere display item, but restored to full functionality once more dispensing ale!
